Senior School
The secondary years of schooling cover years 7 to 12. We call years 7 to 9 the Middle Years of Schooling and years 10 to 12 the Senior Secondary Years of Schooling. The curriculum of each phase of learning is led by an Assistant Principal and two Deans lead the pastoral care team responsible for the overall well-being of all the secondary students.
The Senior Secondary Years of Schooling, Years 10, 11 and 12, comprise the fourth and final phase of schooling at John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School. The students’ growing maturity is marked by gradual privileges and responsibilities which signpost their progress through the school. There are small changes to the uniform, access to café dining facilities, Year 12 common room facilities, encouragement to participate in the Peer Support programme and opportunities for school leadership positions.
