The School provides a wide range of ICT digital resources for the students to use including desktop computers in specialised computer labs, banks of laptop trolleys,  digital cameras, a wide array of software titles and the ability for students to print their work.  Students are encouraged to utilise these resources within their academic programs.

In Term 3, 2013 the School launched the BYOD iPad Programme for all students in year 7 and 8. Following a number of trials in 2012 and an extended six-month long proof-of-concept project, with the support of the School Council and the School ICT Committee, plans were put into motion to commence.

In Term 1, 2016 the staged roll out of the BYOD iPad Programme reached completion. All students in years 4-12 are bringing their own iPads to School every day. Participation in this programme is a compulsory part of being a student at JSR. Students in K-3 will use School provided shared devices.

Below you will find links to documents that provide parents with additional information on the iPad 1-to-1 programme. This includes an iPad Setup Guide that must be followed by all students and/or parents when preparing the device for use at School, a Frequently Asked Questions document that addresses additional questions that parents may have about the programme and a copy of the iPad Code of Conduct that all students at JSR must follow.

Some of the documents have primary or secondary versions. Please read the appropriate document for the age level of your child.
