The JSRACS Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Programme is a parent funded program in which students in Years 4 to 12 own and use their own device at school and at home, enabling a more student-centred, experience-rich education, relevant to the 21st Century.
The Programme allows students to develop skills, work habits, attitudes and expertise that will prepare them for success and help them to become efficient and effective life-long learners.
Technology is used throughout the school to support our students learning. As we are constantly looking for opportunities to meaningfully embed technology into our learning we encourage students to utilise the variety of resources we have on offer within our academic programs.
Along with their BYOD we provide students with a range of digital resources including desktop computers in specialised labs, an Industrial Laser Cutter, 3D Printers, banks of laptop trolleys, digital cameras and the ability for students to print their work.
