100 Club is a running club open to all Year 3 to 6 students that runs all year round. The aim is for students to complete 100kms of running before the end of the school year.
The benefits that can be gained by attending 100 Club training include:
– Personal fitness gains for general health and well being.
– Mental health enhancement – concentration, self esteem, reduced stress, etc.
– Training for improved performance in school cross country, athletics and weekend sporting commitments
– Making friends with students in a range of year groups across the school
If your child is only able to attend the club for part of the year due to other commitments they are still more than welcome to participate when available and parents of children attending are also welcome to join the sessions. Being involved in 100 club is a fantastic opportunity and it is always so rewarding to witness the improvements to students’ overall health and wellbeing through their participation over the course of the year.
