Cooking club is a co-curricular programme offered to students from Year 3 to Year 6 at the Mirrabooka campus. The students have an opportunity to cook a wide range of delicious treats from Lemonade Scones to Moroccan Sausage Scrolls. The students are encouraged to fully participate in every aspect of the cooking process; setting up their cooking stations, collecting the equipment, preparing and cooking all the ingredients, the big clean up at the end and, of course, eating their delicious creations and sharing them with their families! It is a great opportunity for the students to develop some basic food hygiene and cooking skills, as well as a chance to try some new and exciting flavours and cuisines. Cooking Club is held once a week on Wednesday afternoons, with 3 separate groups running over the year. Bon Appetite!
