Community Scholarships

Mr Terry Hann was a member of the JSRACS staff from 1995 to 2011, serving many roles within the School Community, including Acting Director of Curriculum, Assistant Principal for the Senior Secondary Years of Schooling, Dean of Students and Deputy Principal.

Mr Hann has always displayed genuine care and concern for students and their families, often giving of his own personal time, and means, as support for these families. After 16 years of distinguished service, Mr Hann retired from the School in 2011.

 

Mr David Hill was a member of the JSRACS staff from 2003 to 2016, serving many roles within the School Community, including Deputy Principal and Assistant Principal for the Senior Secondary Years of Schooling.

While serving the School community in these roles, Mr Hill worked tirelessly to support the goals and dreams of thousands of children, ensuring that they were well equipped for the challenges of life outside of the School.

 

John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School is pleased to offer the following Community Scholarships for students in Year 6 and Year 10 who currently do not attend JSRACS:

 

Terry Hann Scholarship
Awarded to 20 students currently enrolled in Year 6, at a school other than JSRACS. This Scholarship provides for 50% remission of tuition fees at JSRACS for Year 7 through to Year 12.

 

David Hill Scholarship
Awarded to 10 students currently enrolled in Year 10, at a school other than JSRACS. This Scholarship provides for 50% remission of tuition fees at JSRACS for Year 11  and Year 12.
