JSRACS operates a ‘Siblings Playgroup’ from our two campuses every Wednesday morning, term-time only.
Families with children from 0-4 years of age and who have students enrolled at JSRACS are welcome to come along on Wednesday mornings from 8.45am – 10.45am. The Mirrabooka playgroup meets in the Junior Primary Sensory Room while the Beechboro playgroup meets in the Pre-Kindy room.
This initiative is parent-run activity assisted by Mrs Hughes, our Pre-Kindy teacher, who attends each Playgroup on alternating weeks. Playgroup provides an opportunity for parents to connect with the school community and other parents while engaging in activities that support their child’s mental, social and emotional development in a fun, safe environment.
This new initiative has seen wonderful benefits to families and to school communities including cross-campus playdays and group excursions.
