Playfully preparing for school

Playgroup at John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School

Playgroups are a great way for families with young children to come together, support each other, play, learn and have fun during what has been shown to be the most influential period of their children’s development.

When a playgroup is on a school site, children and families can become familiar with the school environment and build relationships with staff, which benefits both families and the school.

Playgroup is an opportunity for families to playfully prepare for school. Children learn and develop through play.

A 0-4 year old Family-run Playgroup operates every Friday in term time from 8.45-10.30 on the Mirrabooka campus, all members of Playgroup WA are welcome to attend.
