Phases of Learning

Middle School

LOOKING BEYOND THE ORDINARY

Middle School

By bridging the gap between Primary and Senior School the Middle School aims to provide a unique experience to support each child as they pass through the early teenage years. We have our students strive to achieve their personal academic excellence while providing significant pastoral support and developmental programs to ensure each child is not only growing academically but also social, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them of tomorrow.

Experiential learning or learning through experiences, allows students to learn in real world situations. Positive Education is an approach to education that blends academic learning with character and well-being. Preparing students with life skills such as grit, optimism, resilience, growth mindset, engagement, healthy lifestyle and mindfulness. Positive education is based on the science of well-being and happiness – Feeling good and doing well.

The Trailblazer Program is a unique set of sequential, academic and personal growth opportunities. It supplements the core curriculum and pastoral experiences and allows students to grapple with who they are and allowing them to discover their purpose.
