Phases of Learning
As part of our Transitional process parents are invited to attend two key information sessions.
Session 1. 2023 Year 7 Parent Middle School overview session.
Time: Monday 21 November 2022 at 6.00pm
Location: Matthew Hughes Performing Arts Centre
Purpose: This session provides an opportunity for parents to hear from Middle School Leaders and gain an insight into the learning experience at JSRACS.
What to expect?: The evening will feature a 30min presentation covering a range of information about the Middle School and cover aspects of the upcoming transition for your child. Additionally, the JSRACS P&F support this evening by covering the costs of a light supper which will be served following the presentation. You are invited to attend the P&F meeting following the Parents Information Evening, this meeting will be held in the Upstairs School Library commencing at 7.00pm
Session 2. 2023 Year 7 and New Secondary Parents Sundowner
Time: Wednesday 8 February 2023 from 6.00pm (Date to be confirmed)
Location: Middle School Learning Street and Carnley Court
Purpose: This evening is designed to allow parents to connect in a meaningful way with their child’s Pastoral Care Group (PCG) Tutor, meet key leaders, teachers and other support staff, connect with other parents and experience the JSRACS hospitality, community spirit and welcoming nature.
