Bullying. No Way!

To acknowledge the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence, all students in Year 4 – 6 were involved in the National Cyber Bullying Webinar last Thursday morning, and a series of lessons and discussions will follow to reinforce the important messages learnt. All students in Years 7 – 12 viewed the below video clip, as shown on television’s ‘The Project’, at today’s Middle School and Senior School Assemblies.  All Secondary students will also view a replay of the clip this Wednesday afternoon during PCG 2, as a point for the stimulus of important discussion and action.

The School takes its position on bullying very seriously and understands the important role that it plays in supporting children to understand the seriousness of their actions and words. The School also wishes to support a partnership with parents in the education of all children that attend John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School and in this regard encourages parents to watch and discuss the below clip with their children, as is appropriate, in the hope of promoting a safe and supportive environment for all children that attend our School.
