St Paul’s Mirrabooka
John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School enjoys a close relationship with St Paul’s Anglican Church, who meet in the Chapel on the School grounds every Sunday morning. There are two services each Sunday, with the first beginning at 8.00am and the second, a sung Eucharist, commencing at 9.30am.
Everyone is most welcome to the service, with no connection to the School or prior experience of church necessary. The congregation is made up of people who have been Christians for years, some for only a short time, and some who are still exploring and asking questions, and people are encouraged to engage with the service in a way that is comfortable and appropriate for the place they are.
During School Term time, the beautiful St Paul’s Chapel Choir leads the music at the 9.30am service, four services each term. The Choir is made up of staff and students of the John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School, and are trained by the Music Department in the School.
JSRACS provides a range of opportunities for meaningful community engagement activities and groups which enable our students to become, as a reflection of their faith, well-rounded, caring and productive members of the community. Wherever an individual’s path might lead, the values instilled by engagement with our community never lose their relevance.
