LOOKING BEYOND THE ORDINARY

Year 7 Orientation Day

Your child is requested to attend our Orientation Day at the School on Friday 12 November, 2021 at 8.40 am (arrive from 8.20am), with the day concluding at 3.30 pm. The day is an important aspect of the school’s Transition Program. It allows students to experience what it will be like to be a student at JSRACS. A variety of interactive and innovative classes will be held in order to build excitement and ease the nerves of the Year 6 students. As part of the day, students will also tour the campus and become familiar with their new surroundings.

For new students entering JSRACS for the first time, a letter will be sent to their current Primary School advising the Principal of this commitment to Orientation Day.  However, we would request that as a courtesy, new students also advise the Primary School of their attendance.

Please refer to the below documents for information relating to transport details and meeting places. Students are required to assemble in Carnley Court at the Mirrabooka campus by 8.40am. Staff and student leaders will be on hand around the campus to guide and assist students unfamiliar with the campus however we have included a map for you below that indicates where to drop off and pick up your child and where they are to meet.
