Your child is requested to attend our Orientation Day at the School on Monday, 20 November 2023 at 8.40am (arrival from 8.20am), concluding at 3.30pm.
The day is an important aspect of the School’s Transition Program. It allows students to experience what it will be like to be a student at JSRACS. Various interactive and connection sessions will be held to build excitement, engage with the JSRACS community and ease the nerves of the Year 6 students. Students will also tour the campus and become familiar with their new surroundings as part of the day.
For new students entering JSRACS for the first time, a letter will be sent to their current Primary School advising the Principal of this commitment to Orientation Day. However, we would request that, as a courtesy, new students also advise their Primary School of their attendance.
Please refer to the documents below for information about transport details and meeting places. Students are required to assemble in the Gymnasium by 8.40am. Staff and student leaders will be on hand around the campus to guide and assist students; however, we have included a map below that indicates where to drop off and pick up your child and where they are to meet.
Students are required the bring/wear the following to Orientation Day:
