Pre Kindy

Our Pre-Kindy program offers three-year-olds a nurturing and engaging introduction to school life through play-based learning. Children build confidence while developing communication, creativity, social skills and physical wellbeing in a supportive environment.

Designed to suit busy families, the program runs alongside school terms and provides flexible attendance options of up to six sessions or three full days per week.

Sessions are available Tuesday to Thursday:

  • 8:45am – 11:55am
  • 12:10pm – 3:20pm
  • Full day: 8:45am – 3:20pm

Families can choose individual or combined sessions, including full days, to create a schedule that works for them.

Optional 5 Day Kindy

At JSR, we believe every child develops their sense of identity through meaningful connections with educators, peers and the wider community. In our early learning environment, children are supported to explore, question and express themselves as they grow in confidence and understanding of the world around them.

Through play-based, responsive learning experiences, we nurture each child’s individual strengths and curiosity.

We aim for every child to develop:

  • A strong sense of identity
  • A connection to and respect for their world
  • A sense of wellbeing and belonging
  • Confidence as active, capable learners
  • Strong communication skills

Unique Learning Environment

Our purpose-built Early Learning campus, set within beautiful natural surroundings, offers an inspiring space where young children grow in confidence and curiosity as they begin to understand the world around them. Our open classrooms foster connection, collaboration and a strong sense of belonging.

Through our Bush Classroom, children explore and learn through hands-on, inquiry-based play in a natural setting, developing creativity and problem-solving skills. These experiences also introduce Indigenous perspectives, nurturing respect for the land and an appreciation of the cultures and histories that shape our community.
